Lawrence Bergstrom BSc Hons Ost
Registered
Osteopath

Lawrence graduated from The London School of Osteopathy obtaining a bachelor of science honours degree in Osteopathic medicine, after successfully completing the five year undergraduate course. Since that time he has been busy developing The Coach House Osteopathy and Podiatry Clinic. Lawrence is a member of the British Osteopathic Association and registered with The General Osteopathic Council (GOSC). Since graduation Lawrence has been busy with post graduate studies including clinical acupuncture and classical Osteopathy where he is currently undertaking a two year course at the John Wernham Institute of Classical Osteopathy. (Continuing professional development (CPD) is a statutory requirement of all Osteopaths wishing to remain registered with GOSC).

Lawrence is also currently obtaining membership of The British Medical Acupuncturists Association (BMAS) which promotes the further development of clinical expertise and research in the field via CPD and clinical tuition at the NHS funded Royal London Homeopathic Hospital.

As an Osteopath Lawrence also works in conjunction with local GP's to offer assistance to patients within the local community suffering from injury. Lawrence has a keen interest in functional rehabilitation and the management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries. The Coach House Clinic offers a multi disciplinary approach to injury management. This is partly born out of the frustration that Lawrence himself experienced whilst suffering injuries competing as an athlete, years before becoming an Osteopath. Although Lawrence no longer competes in the sporting arena, he keeps active through his love of surfing and Chinese internal martial arts in addition to helping raise a young family. Lawrence continues to develop his knowledge of osteopathic medicine and is extremely keen to see how osteopathy may come to play a bigger part in 'mainstream' healthcare in the future.
