What Ofsted stay:
- Staff provide a clean, caring and welcoming
environment for the children. Children arrive happy and settle quickly.
- Staff are developing in their team work and
each have delegated responsibilities.
- Children are encouraged to learn about
personal hygiene through the daily routine. Staff encourage children to wash
their hands regularly.
- Staff organise the space effectively to enable
children to select their own resources. They provide a clear daily routing
that the children understand well.
- Meal times are good; staff provide a relaxed
and social occasion that promotes children's self-help skills
- There is a good staff : child ratio, staff
are interested in what children do and say; talk and listen to them; ask
questions to make them think; respond to children's interests; praise and
encourage them.
- The partnership with parents is good. Parents
are happy with their child's care at the nursery. Information is given to
parents about the provision and their child's progress.
